I wass recently reading an article published in brokeragentsocial.com and noticed that the author refers in a very good way to a set of the most important issues related to why specially in this market everyone should dedicate some time to maintain an active webpage.
I have address the importance of some of this same issuesin tdifferent articles in my blog, but I am going to emphasize again some of the issues.
The look of your webpage is very important.
- The name of your company and contact information should be readily visble.
- Are you following your company motto and ideas.
- Do not use too many colors apart from white and black
The information of your company should be updated periodically.
Blog periodically as frequently as possible. Program to blog at least once a week. This is time well invested.

Gabriel, Good reminders today. I am preaching non stop to the agents in my office who "Roll Old Style" to the real estate drum. Keeping it fresh online is a must!
My pet peeve is agents who let expired or withdrawn listings remain on sites such as Point2. It makes it look like they have more going on than they do and it is discouraging for customers to select a property that is no longer available. I go through my Point2 site periodically and cull listings that have come through on a "handshake" from other agents that I know are off the market for one reason or another.
Thank you Rick. I hope some of them understand the imp;ortance of Virtual Tours as a powerful listing tool.
